The problems in CVR

Although we have already built the website for smartphone, the most smartphone users will visit PC website againbecause they feel stressed while using the smartphone site. Due to these problem, CVR of the users from PC to smartphone is really low and result in losing the profit about 15million yen per month.

Our client wanted to focus on increasing the repeat rate but they were struggle with remaining flat of the number of memberships and decreasing the CTR(Click through rate) from Mail magazine.

CVR

We have been carrying out the userbility improvement consulting for 6months.
We sorted out approximately 117 points and finished implementing 80% of them(94points).

During this project, we especially forcused on the following points.
・Because the position of the category such as “ goods for cats” and “goods for dogs” was unclear, we organize the whole construction of website.
・Most users couldn’t reach to their needed product page because there are too many steps from Top page to lower pages, So we dealt with this problem by changing the product page dynamically.
・By doing the user testing, we found out the customer’s needs which they want to know the kinds of all products at the category page.

We focus on their Mail magazine staffs who having excellent writing skills.
We though it could be possible to increase online sales by teaching them how to write a effective mail magazine and improving their mail marketing know-how.
We held the Mail magazine writing course once a month and help them understand the customer purchasing psychology. In addition, we correct their first draft every week.

What is the problems you have been facing with?

We have already knew that we need to increase CVR but we didn’t have any ideas or knowhow to improve the userbility.

【CVR】 We positively sure that the website is needed to continue to be improved. In addition, due to build the high-userbility website, we will try to do our best such as doing a user testing or getting other companies’ opinion and knowledge.
We will focus on getting the user’s attention by web marketing.

Have you ever received the other companies’ proposal?

【CVR】 Yes. But there are no any other proposal such as EC&Marketing style.
Most of the other companies’ proposal are partial ones like “ How about improving the shopping cart or one part of registration form?”
Unlike the above one, we have never received before such a strategic proposal to improve CVR by 6-months project. We though that it was epoch-making proposal and there are not such a great company in digital marketing.

【all of our services】 Although we have already received many web redesign proposals, most of them remained within web design's parameters. In addition , the other digital marketing companies’ or digital marketing consulting companies’ just focus on the way to attract the customers without considering the other parts of digital marketing such as CRM or web design. They even show us various kinds of ad medias, however, all of the ad media seems same for us. The great value of EC&Marketing proposal is that, because they show us the content of the project and the result of it clearly, so we can understand ROI , which make it easier to proceed the project smoothly without any anxious.

It was a innovative proposal.
We have never gotten before such as CRM solutions to increase online sales by using a mail magazine.
However we have been focusing on mail magazine marketing internally, it was a first time to get such a concrete and systematic proposal.

As you said, you have never received the mail magazine improvement proposal.
Did you feel any anxious or doubt about our first proposal ?

【CRM】 We didn’t feel worried at all because their solution is not just making a mail magazine but providing us the full knowledge of mail magazine marketing. It was great for us that our staffs can acquire their knowledge and write the effective mail magazine internally. Of course, I was attracted by this proposal because there are not any disadvantages for us.

Why did you decide to order to EC&Marketing?

【all of our service】 ―The good point is that they didn’t try desperately to selling.
They called us only once a month since we got their proposal, which was the opportune time. The other company usually gave us a call everyday and got tired of it.

Would you have any interesting points or exciting moments through this project?

【CVR】 When they called us, we were struggle with decreasing CVR itself and looking for a solution to achieve the goal. We have been carrying out various project to break through the present statement but we didn’t know the best way to do it.
At that time, EC&Marekting gave us this solution proposal to increase CVR and we were very interested in the various method such as “a user testing” and their various success case studies. In order to make our website better, we thought that third person’s opinion will be necessary.
Moreover, from the beginning, all of their explanation is very understandable. Its great that they are not only pointing out the problems on our website but also providing the concrete and clear solutions for it. Their well-managed supporting until completing the implementation is also helpful. Their service were always kinds and thoughtful.
